This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

i get the 18 gal sterilites at walmart periodically b/c i don't want to have to wait for a sale. i haven't bought in awhile but i think i usually get them under $5. sometimes lowes has them for like $4. use alot for yard sales but also other stuff.

i bought a set of green rubbermaid roughnecks one time at target thinking to color code my xmas stuff and i prefer the sterilite. they are shorter and wider. the rubbermaid are taller and thinner so some stuff actually won't fit, grrrr! i think the sterilite are almost just as sturdy. i'm not planning to throw them out a window. they just get stashed in the basement and then come out onto the driveway once a yr.

the clear ones are more fragile and will crack way more easily. so don't put anything too heavy in there and don't move them around too much. they are probably better if you are storing assorted items in there so you can see them.

i'll be using a sterilite for my electrasol/cascade stash and label it w/ masking tape and marker.

Agree the clear ones are not as sturdy but those I want so I can see the stuff I will use within a short time frame. The excess stuff I use the 18 gal totes and put them in storage which like slowtech I don't take out too often. I think between this weeks and next weeks Target sales you will catch a good price on any you like. I really hate buying these when there is no sale around.

Found some good hidden things at my stores yesteday. I hadn't set foot in a store for clearance at all. This stomach flu has kicked my butt!

I had big plans for yesterday. Went to 2 Targets then went home because I didn't feel well AGAIN.
Hope you feel better soon - seems to have hit a few people here on the boards - interesting to see how this kind of stuff travels across the country - I'm such a dork, yes, I'm intruiged by this!

Oooo...I had two that flipped! Ouch! Both of them in the last week of pregnancy. The first was 9 lbs. and 22 1/2 inches...EEK! Not sure how he managed to turn breech that late, I just remember it was painful!
OUCH!!! My son was almost 9 lbs and 24", if he would have flipped he would have damn near killed me I think! He's 6'2 at 15 now so I guess it makes sense that he was so long! Glad you made it through that and still had enough in you to try it again LMAO !!

Thankfully I do not remember much of what happened. I do remember feeling like I was choking during the endoscopy and a few other things, but that was about it. The results were good I guess. They found a polyp in my stomach and so they removed it and are biopsying it. They also removed another part of my small intestines for a different biopsy. So as for now, I know nothing. I guess that is good, since it is not a right away bad thing, but I am upset bc I still don't know what is causing it all. Hard to treat when you don't know what hell it is. I am trying to stay positive though.
Pray that everything turns out clean and that you feel better soon!!!

So turns out this KB was closing too, and they wouldn't accept GC as payment. Poor thing was so upset. It pisses me off because they already got their damn money from the GC, I should be able to buy something with it Mad
That makes my heart sad - poor little guy. I hate when "big business" hurts the little ones - That just sucks.

Here either, and I'm not even going to bother when it does. There's nothing left that I want or need. Last year there was tons left when it went to 90.

That is horrible!!! Are all KB toys closing? If not, maybe you can sell it on ebay and at least get something for it or trade it for another gift card on one of those gift card trading sites.

I took DS to TRU yesterday to exchange a Transformer that he got as a gift - it even said, "TRU exclusive" and they wouldn't let me exchange it. You have to have a receipt there for any exchange or return!!!! I would have taken a gc at the lowest price that it had been sold at but nope, nothing!!! They wanted me to go back to the person who gave it to him and ask for a gift receipt. Is it just me, or is that kind of tacky? The person who gave it to him isn't family or even a close friend, it just seems strange to go to them and ask for a receipt. I'll probably end up just giving him money for it and then re-gifting it but I will never shop at TRU again (not like I ever did, way too expensive for me!)

LINK [yahoo.com] to Yahoo Answers with people having the same problem. Maybe one of those will help. There were so many different answers, I didn't know which ones to copy/paste. HTH

Highly doubt that's why you are looked down upon there Coverlaugh

yes, i am sure you were there and are fully aware of how the situation was.....

You already had a run in with the guy - sounds to me like your attitude played a huge role in how you were treated this time.
how do you know? you must have your crystal ball on today.

Well when s/he has already been denied using 4 BOGOS on 4 items for Glade at T....
you must be bored and have to much time on your hands, btw, the glade question was about a different store and it was just that, a question because i was not sure of targets coupon policy.
I wrote that post because I was venting, You act as you were there and know what happened. Now you are trying to get all CSI and looking up old posts that I wrote to "prove" your point.
