When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! Hi guys, I started multi quote but screwed up in between..So will just post as much as I can remember..

MamaRo - I remember you were taking a break when I was joining the forum..Everyone would get so excited if they made it to your siggy...Welcome back and hope you have a nice and prosperous 2009..

Ariel - I dont know what procedure you had or why but hoping everything turns out fine for you...

Jen - sorry about your accident..hope you feel better soon..Also my DD was the same way..Our mallis just down the road so we would plan to go there during weekdays evenings (no shopping ) just a stroll in the mall, play in the play area, let her be her own self...Slowly she got used to the idea of people around her and it does not bother her now...

I am forgetting something and will post when I remember...Off to read the deals thread..

Have you guys heard about this no reselling baby stuff after 2/10? Read a little more about it here [blogspot.com] - I don't know if anyone here uses consignment shops or e-bay to either buy or re-sell, but you might want to take note if you do..... Sounds like this would include all those giant Little Tikes toys that everyone beat each up over to buy at my garage sale way back when.... those things were garage sale magnets!

That's just Crazy How in the world would they ever enforce something like that. They would have to create a yard sale police force....I'm assuming the stores people buy baby products from can provide the info as well, or the manufacturer..so as long as the manufacturer's label is still on the product, the information should be available....

that's what i thought too... strange.... it will probably put some consignment shops out of business though...... dumb! I can see banning certain things like car seats and baby cribs - those things that probably shouldn't be resold (if used or 'older') but clothing?

I have a pile, will need to act fast to get rid of it. But I wonder what they are going to do, go and close all the consignment shops?? There's a way to do things and this isn't it. Try not putting things into the commerce cycle that have lead, etc by hiring more inspectors, gee there's an idea.

But that puts the oness on the gov't. This way, if people are caught selling crap they can be fined and it becomes a revenue stream instead of an expense. It's always all about the $$, right? I know, I'm a little cynical -

Glad he's feeling better. My daughter had this the day AFTER Christmas. It was like an 8-hour thing...glad it was so short but it was weird!!!

I just put him to bed, I was worried that he wouldn't sleep (he is an insomniac like me!) He got right in bed and didn't even ask for a story, so I know he is still alittle off. In all his 5 years I had never seen anything like this!!

For some reason I couldn't get the link to work ??

One of my goodwills wont take high chairs, and baby things of that sort....but the other one about 15 minutes away will. I had some things that I dug up and took to donate and they wouldn't accept them....I just ended up giving them away on freecycle. I guess that just means it will all go to freecycle (well what doesnt get taken to the dump) I'm assuming they cannot make a law saying you can't give it away for free.

Funny you mention this, I went to sell some items at the 1st of Dec only to find the store was now closed. I was like oh well..I will just go to their sister store near work, same deal.
I found out that they are closing all their locations due to some new law..well that would be it.
This store would normally sell bulk items but would sell a few clothes & toys too. That truly will hurt such businesses if they pass this law. I use to love dropping stuff off there.

I will surely hate it if I can't donate to the children's homes. I hit them up at least 6 times a year and I am afraid to think what might happen to all these shelters if such law passes..I guess no one is thinking about that in the long run. Uuugghhhh! Mad

Ahhh...sweet relief! lol Ok, some of you ladies know that on New Year's Eve I was in a car accident....well I've been sucking it up and dealing with some crazy back pain, but I broke down and called the doctors exchange last night......dr. finally got back to me this morning and called me in some pain meds, so for the first time in a couple of days I don't feel like killing someone!

I had a horrible day at work yesterday! I was in a lot of pain, we had a ton of teenagers up there causing problems and I kicked out 3 kids for jumping shows and just causing disturbances in general and the "mother" basically told me her *children* didn't do anything wrong bla bla bla, and it must be me and not them. I finally lost it and told her we were not a babysitting service and maybe she shouldn't leave her *children" there by themselves if she was concerned with how they were being treated. I try really hard not to lose it like that, as we deal with this all the time...but everyone has a breaking point. Jerk kids + lots of pain = Jen losing it lol.

Oh hun!! I am sooo sorry!! hug

No T for me today Frown
My son woke up at 1:30 last night saying he had a headache. I rubbed him back to sleep. Then this morning he woke up saying it still hurt and he just wanted to cuddle in bed with me.
He felt really hot, and had a headache all day....then he said his legs hurt and he got really pale. About 30 minutes later he was throwing up.
It broke my heart because he was crying and saying "help me, help me...I can't stop crying"
Poor thing fell asleep on the bathroom floor while I was trying to get clean clothes for him. He woke up about an hour later and said he felt better...but it didn't last long. He made himself a little towel bed on my floor and went back to sleep.

Now he is acting as if he was never sick, it was so strange!

I was thinking I was going to have to call out of work, after a 2 week vacation.

Awe poor guy!! hug Sorry for you all!
