This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

Is X-mas ringing up INF at all stores?

Does anyone happen to have any Progresso $1.50 coupons that they won't be using? I have $3 Coty peelies to trade. I don't think I have much else that anyone would want...maybe a few poptart peelies and a few Target Windex peelies.
I didn't know there where 1.50 Progresso q's? I'd love to find out! All I have are $1.10's and I am using those.

To further keep on topic, we're working on potty training for DS today. 3 accidents so far today Blackeye 2 pee-pees and 1 Horse

Good times, good times...
They will learn eventually that it's a Nono2 to do it anywhere. Patience is a virtual on the parents' approach. Hope your house is not all-carpeted.... EEK!

My DS would purposely take his "revenge" to his annoying sister's room.
  1. pull down his pants
  2. do the pee-pee & poo
  3. pull up his pants and left for her to find when she walked into her room later
The 1st time it happened, we thought he had an accident. By the 2nd or 3rd time, we know he is ready for the toitet. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

Anybody got a great way that they were able to get their DS to get up and go - mine doesn't want to go because he is in the middle of something - just lazy. With my first DS a couple of M&Ms worked but #2 doesn't care about the candy.
My son was ready to use the potty early. He began showing signs/interest around 18 months. I let him play around with the idea and actually go on his little potty. Once I thought he was mentally ready...I got alittle more serious about it.
What I did was about 2 weeks total, he stayed pants/underwear less. I had a little potty in the living room. That way it was really close to his toys and he wasn't going far to go. His "prizes" I had asked on freecycle for old happy meal toys. That way he was really pleased he was getting a "new" toy.
Now pooping was a whole different world. He was not thrilled about pooping on the potty.

That sounds like what is going on at my house! Except for the Horse but I am sure we are on our way to that too nod

This reminds me of those carnival games, where each person shoot the water gun at the bulleye in a horse race.

Okay, I found them it is $1.50/5 I assume that they work nicely on target's system and with the price of $1.52 they will be beepless.

Family code on the South Beach cereal bar coupon is 43000. HTH!
Has anyone had trouble using these? I tried at WAG today and bought 6 of the meal bars. The coupons beeped and I wasn't allowed to use them because the coupon is for a 6 pack box and these only have 5 in them. It was the exact same thing the coupon was for, but 1 less bar. Maybe I have to use them on regular SB bars.

EEK! One time I got to clean up poop from all over DS room - he thought that it would make good finger paint vomit

Thanks for all the ideas. Will try the cheerios! I think that I will try the no pants too - since the pull ups have the designs and maybe he will pay attention to them. Really don't want to do the no clothes since our entire top floor is carpet that we are trying to extend the life of.

Just got back from WAG; had no trouble with the Qs on the high protein cereal bars.

Did you make sure you're using the right ones? (Sorry if that's a silly question, but the two Qs have different bar codes.)

Seriously, when you figure out what that kid ingested you need to let us know. Was he out grazing in the yard?
