My DS would purposely take his "revenge" to his annoying sister's room.

- pull up his pants and left for her to find when she walked into her room later
The 1st time it happened, we thought he had an accident. By the 2nd or 3rd time, we know he is ready for the toitet.Holy cow on DS's "revenge" on his sister.
I think the only thing that is less happy about PT than me is our washing machine
Why does being a Mom mean you have to know such things as what makes green poop!?

Anybody got a great way that they were able to get their DS to get up and go - mine doesn't want to go because he is in the middle of something - just lazy. With my first DS a couple of M&Ms worked but #2 doesn't care about the candy.
one of my boys didn't train at all till he was 3. but he was just not interested. as you mentioned the key is motivation. you just have to know what your kid REALLY wants. yes good old fashioned bribery in my book works wonders.
DS#4 wanted a barney game for the sega system we had. i told him you poop and pee in the potty everyday for the next 7 days and off we will go on morning of day 8 to buy it.
he went the whole week to the bathroom everyday all by himself.
day 8 comes around and we went to buy the game. I figured game was equal to the pack of pampers he would have used all week so it was a fair trade to me. he was quite happy and proud of himself and so was I.
day 9 he wet himself!
i swear it was just to test me. i told him okay you had an accident, but remember no potty no barney.
no more accidents !
he got the point quick. my kids know i mean business in that particular tone of voice i used. you all know the one i mean where the flames shoot out of your eyes and you remind them of the scary creature that lives under their beds
