When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! I also knew a girl who got her "whatchamacallit" pierced and liked to show it off. It was like a kid showing off a new toy. We went to her house to hang out, she proceeds to say "hey wanna see what I just got" and we are like "sure" then she hikes up her skirt Shocking and there it is. She was so proud.
Wow....your gf is really thought b/c from what i've "heard" that hurts like a b*tch and they take forever to heal.

My ex had a prince albert...I actually saw it get done and there was very little pain involved believe it or not. I think the worst part for them is the wait period before they can have sex.

I don't believe so. I work at Outback and for parties of 8 or more they add 18% for grat. If he forgot (at least in our store) oh well, his loss/problem. Our manager would NEVER come back out and say the party owed more.
I don't think he should have either. If the server forgot to add it, its her/his fault IMO. Since the service wasn't great, or even good, they should be happy w/ the 12% they got.

I agree. It definitely sounds like the manager tried to "fix" the gratuity problem (it should have been added when the check was first brought out). Once the bill is out, though...they should definitely not have come back saying you owed more. shake head Bad customer service. It might be a good idea to contact corp about this...if only to let them know of the weirdness.
nod contact corp...you just might end up with a GC out of the deal...just sayin Whistling

I have worked in a variety of CS settings and that was a poor move on behalf of the manager. You have a valid concern to address with corp.

I took my son to kbtoys today (45 minutes away) to spend a giftcard that we got last christmas, next time we went to our mall, ours was closing.
So turns out this KB was closing too, and they wouldn't accept GC as payment. Poor thing was so upset. It pisses me off because they already got their damn money from the GC, I should be able to buy something with it Mad

Tacky!!!

We had this lady try to pull something like that at a B&B once. We were staying close to the new year's holiday (but not actually ON new year's eve) and, after she arrived, she basically said, "Oh you were supposed to be charged extra b/c of the proximity to the holiday." And we were like, "Um, we've already paid, suck it." Smilie

That pretty much would have been my position in your situation too.

On a COMPLETELY different note: does anyone have any experience returning something to the Gap w/o a receipt? My DH got a gift that is both too small and also not to his taste. It's got tags but we don't have a receipt. I'm hoping we can at least do an exchange.

What is there normal policy on "parties over x"? Sounds like if the tip was to be added to the ticket someone forgot and then the server got their panties in a bunch at 12% so manager "tried to fix".

I would definitely contact their regional office and log a concern. Even if they undercharged you for an item, you already paid, it is good customer service to let it go.
Yes it does say that they gratuity was "suggested". But when it wasn't added we really didn't think much of it because the service wasn't very good.

That's exactly what I said too! They should have chalked it up and next time remember to add it to the bill the 1st time. The strange thing is my friend asked to speak to the mgr about it and the mgr would not come her olnly sent the server back over!

I think I might! That mgr sucked. I worked in management for 5 years we would never do something like that!

That's what we were saying as well. I also believe that if you are not happy with the service the "suggested" gratuity doesn't have to be paid.

WOW!! I am not going to confirm nor deny any piercings I may or may not have, but if I did/do have more than the average bear, I would not be showing them off to the world!!!

Well, that is not true, when I pierced my own belly button, I was quite proud of it and did show it off to everyone. Then again, I was 13, so yeah.......
