I've had this printer / copier for a couple of years now, and it's been absolute joy. Starts up from power-saving sleep mode within seconds, never jams, prints and copies sharp text and images fast. Scans are detailed, and perfect for both forms and my photos and line art.
The wireless setup is a breeze, especially when using the WPS button system. Once it's connected to the network, just run the Brother software from the website, and it'll detect the printer. Effortless.
I really have no complaints about this machine. I recently picked up a second Brother all-in-one, the upgraded model MFC L2550DW, because of a few minor improvements. However, after discovering that the toner is more expensive because of the required chip (even for aftermarket toner), I regret just not getting this same model again.

It doesn't do front and back copying automatically, meaning, you can only scan one side of a stack of papers at once (duplex scan means it could flip the pages automatically when scanning)
It won't copy (or scan) both sides of document that's fed through the automatic document feeder, only the front side. So if you have a two sided document that you want to copy, you'll have to manually flip over the pages to get the back side.
This model is more economical to use than the one that replaced it, at least for high-volume use. That's because this allows you to use cheaper non-OEM toner cartridges. The new model has a chip in it that rejects non-OEM toner cartridges. I expect it will eventually be hacked, but that could take some time.

...as others have said.
That's why I'm looking at the MFCL2740DW which automatically copies both sides.
