This is an odd one. It actually encourages you to spend $20 or so in 5 different transactions, as you get $20 back in points on each one. I love Sears lol.

using gift cards is fine

the thing to watch out for is that the points probably expire in like 2 weeks

I'm a sucker for the underdog. I think Sears is on its last leg, but competition is a very good thing. I've been loving these promotions. I'm buying a house so the timing is great. I've earned and burned over $300 in points over the last month. The only issue I had was a $70 points promotion for spending $70 on a jacket. They sent me the wrong size. I chatted with customer service. They said to return the jacket and I could keep the points. Sure enough, I lost the points but one 5 minute call to SYW and they credited them back. Sears has their issues but I've not had any issues personally.

I think I have about $500 in Sears gift cards. Can you pay in gift cards and still earn the points? Seems like a good time to offload more GCs. Just used my toysrus GCs today before they go completely bankrupt next week.

When extra point offers are combined, total points earned will be less than the combined point totals for each individual offer.

I will be cautious about further deals at Sears/Kmart.
I've had to fight/still fighting for credit on some of the latest deals including $20/$20 or 100% back in store free clothes; Overstock $40/$40; Smart Sense 100% back, etc.

The only one that halfway worked is the Easter Candy one though there was a problem with pay options.

No. Rolling points has not worked for a very long time.
