I have a similar charger with one of the ports QC 2.0. The shape and size made this my go to charger over the Anker 10400mAh charger than I also have.

Damn. It wasn't me. I was thinking about it tho... Took mine apart for the batteries inside and it was so much better than my Anker's. Frown

So, I've been storing the excess output of a small solar panel I built to several LiON power banks I have, one a 5600mAH, the other a 16000mAH. On a clear and sunny day I can refill both, plus partially recharge a smartphone, from around March to November here in the NE. But I'm wondering, is there a better battery type for such an application, say a small deep cycle sealed lead acid battery, or perhaps a NiMh? The panel puts out 5V USB up to 10-11W (potentially 12W from late spring to early fall), under optimal conditions, obviously much less when cloudy or early or late in the day.

Even at full price of $15 the LeTV is a better deal, no?

I have the larger 24k mah ravpower. It is complete junk. I will say their customer service is ok. But i've had to ship it in for replacement 4 times in the span of 4 months. They all stopped taking charges. They finally just gave me a full refund on amazon lol.

Looks like this is regular 2A or 2.4A/port. Not qc2.0. Anyone knows how much faster is the qc2.0? I have something like this and thinking of upgrading to qc2.0 if it's much better

You should see them later in the year. I had to opt for the Anker 26,800 QC 3.0 battery pack for right now.

They're not unpopular, they're just too expensive and most are ill-equipped to power anything that needs a lot of power.

May be another 1-2 years...

The RAVPower ultra-compact 10000MAh is also on sale for $14.99 and it is even smaller and lighter:
