You are probably ware of Amazon's hidden policy to target really bad shoppers. Some cases I heard were indeed a bit over the top.

Well, Amazon actually bans you once you, not just banning future returns.

Best Buy, other chains pay to track customers' shopping behavior and limit items they can bring back

It looks pretty creepy as the case in the report appear pretty minor, but the shopper got banned for return for one year anyway.
Apparently this effort isn't new

This happened a couple years ago. No issues since.
When I would go to BB I'd tell them: Can't you just refund me the difference instead of having me return the item and rebuy it? Nope, that was the only option.

Best buy claims to beat the lowest advertised price, they should have NO PROBLEM backing up this claim, they should have no problem doing adjustments if they lower the price within the alotted return period and shouldn't markup everything 15% to begin with?
This is the Slickdeals forum, bull piss chuggers anonymous is no longer hosted here so please see yourself out.
SDrs, you can request your consumer report from the retail equation if you're been denied a return at any retailer. While the retail equation may have a single file on you with information from multiple retailers, different retailers cannot exchange information or otherwise share data with another. The retail equation can only make determinations based on the data set for that retailer.
Unlike a credit report the retail equation does not have a formal way of contesting errors or misinformation in your report.
Remember retailers are not obligated legally to accept returns except in the case of defect or recall.

Props dude, that 1st paragraph alone is a helluva zinger. Ain't nobody trying to take a way your Internet troll cred fasho, Jedi.
The bull piss chuggers remark is where you began to let me down though as it clearly doesn't follow. It sounds an awful like what Rain Man above would do.
So Sorry, but it's an oversell & you don't pass the smell test Genius4sho. And you're still not invited to house warming
Sincerely,
