You did it wrong. And applying with your SSN had nothing to do with your decline. Don't pretend to have an elaborate business that you can't back up - even if you can stretch it to seem kinda plausible.

What you should have done (and could do in 30 days if you wish to reapply) is to simply apply as a "Sole Proprietor". From that point, pick a category/subcategory that makes sense for you, put minimal levels of income and years in business. I have gotten 3 Chase business cards doing exactly that (2 using my SSN, the 3rd with an EIN), as have a large number of other people - oddly enough, it is easier to get approved following those steps than for legitimate small business owners applying for their businesses.
That one has an annual fee and requires $5k spending from what I can see, but the CB and bonus amount are indeed better.
When I signed up years ago, basic Ebay sellers were viewed as a business. Today YMMV but I still have the card.

One thing to know, the buyer protections granted to customers of non-business VISA cards may not come with the business card. You may want to check carefully before using this card for higher risk purchases.

My chase sapphire reserve hit annual fee and I'm going to cancel it. Wondering if I should apply for this card or the ink preferred with 80k UR points first. Any advise?

What do they mean by account anniversary year? I could not find anything on their website too!! It should be there but atleast on their mobile site I didn't see anything in terms and condition.
per https://chaseonline.chase.com/res...75_Web.pdf

""account anniversary year" means the year beginning with your account open date through the first statement after the anniversary of your account open date, and each 12 billing cycles after that"

If that helps any lol

Anyone know if there is a referral bonus on this card if I was to refer a friend? I keep getting an error when I fill out the referral form.
If you already have this card you need to log into your chase account and generate a referral link to give to your friend. If you're trying to get your friend the referral he/she needs to log in and generate their referral code and give it to you.

Thanks. Just called and spent about 5min on the line. He asked to verify my name and cell number. Then he sent text and asked to verify that. Was put on hold then was approved.

When you can't get approved from max exposure on personal cards they usually consolidate from personal to personal to get approval.

Not sure. But no reason to wait if you're eligible to apply and can do the spend.

Question, if sole proprietor, do you count yourself as 1 employee? Thanks

Update, I entered 0 employees and got instant approval

Can an in branch pre-approval bypass the 5/24 rule? Also, does this card earn cashback or UR points? Thanks.

All chase branded cards are UR points

If you want cash from them, that's always an option.

Do you have any information regarding the in branch pre-approval and 5/24? I am over 5/24 but was pre-approved for this card a couple months ago (I didn't apply for it then).
