You did it wrong. And applying with your SSN had nothing to do with your decline. Don't pretend to have an elaborate business that you can't back up - even if you can stretch it to seem kinda plausible.

What you should have done (and could do in 30 days if you wish to reapply) is to simply apply as a "Sole Proprietor". From that point, pick a category/subcategory that makes sense for you, put minimal levels of income and years in business. I have gotten 3 Chase business cards doing exactly that (2 using my SSN, the 3rd with an EIN), as have a large number of other people - oddly enough, it is easier to get approved following those steps than for legitimate small business owners applying for their businesses.
That one has an annual fee and requires $5k spending from what I can see, but the CB and bonus amount are indeed better.
When I signed up years ago, basic Ebay sellers were viewed as a business. Today YMMV but I still have the card.

One thing to know, the buyer protections granted to customers of non-business VISA cards may not come with the business card. You may want to check carefully before using this card for higher risk purchases.

I signed up this card 3 years ago for my 1st business. I moved away and still have the card active. If I open the card with a new TIN and business name, will I get the signup bonus again? Thanks

Applied online and got the 30-day review message. Shall I call or just wait, or maybe wait a few days before calling?

I'm answering my own question here. Received a call from Chase. The lady asked me the question about type of business, how long has been in the business, income from the business. Then approved it with rushed shipping.

This is my first business card. I have multiple rental homes. So I applied as sole proprietor, lessor of real estate, lessor of residential homes. Put $0 sales and 1yr in business. Chase needed to know the total rent as income but don't care about cost and loss.

I'm not hitting 5/24 on my personal cards.

Approved, without issues, probably because i had closed a ink bold (didn't downgrade, as i knew i was going to get the chase cash ink and wanted the bonus on it) a few months ago and did not have any other business card with chase at the moment.

UPS 1 day? 2 day? 3 day?
I got the dreaded message to call right away. It turned out they just wanted to verify a few minor things, nothing pertaining to the business information I entered on the application. I was approved, and asked for rush shipping. I was told they wouldn't over night the card, but they would send it UPS 2 day.

When they to you to call in. I would say 90% that's an approval and it's just verification FME.

Why did they close it? If you're not on bad terms like bankruptcy with chase then yes you can apply

Is verification FME about personal income or business income?

This was a while back the only reason I think they closed my CC is because I just used it to get the bonus reward after that I stopped using the credit card. I think it was inactive easily for an year I didn't mind I wasnt really using it so I am wondering if this would affect me trying to take advantage of a promotion with Chase again.
