You did it wrong. And applying with your SSN had nothing to do with your decline. Don't pretend to have an elaborate business that you can't back up - even if you can stretch it to seem kinda plausible.

What you should have done (and could do in 30 days if you wish to reapply) is to simply apply as a "Sole Proprietor". From that point, pick a category/subcategory that makes sense for you, put minimal levels of income and years in business. I have gotten 3 Chase business cards doing exactly that (2 using my SSN, the 3rd with an EIN), as have a large number of other people - oddly enough, it is easier to get approved following those steps than for legitimate small business owners applying for their businesses.
That one has an annual fee and requires $5k spending from what I can see, but the CB and bonus amount are indeed better.
When I signed up years ago, basic Ebay sellers were viewed as a business. Today YMMV but I still have the card.

One thing to know, the buyer protections granted to customers of non-business VISA cards may not come with the business card. You may want to check carefully before using this card for higher risk purchases.

I'm pretty sure it's 24 months from when he/she received the bonus.

You're right, I will change my reply.

I just opened a Chase Freedom Unlimited, as long as I'm under the 5/24 rule, I can open this one too right?

We have 4 lines with T-Mobile w/ about 4 phones on EIP with about a 2k balance (4 LG BOGO devices). If I pay those off w/ this card, that should be 5% cash back right?

After talking to the rep, I think you should put your business name as your own name. Do not try to make up a business name, as they can't verify it.

Hope this helps!

Same here. Did you call them back and ask them to correct it? Did they approved?

1. What is the minimum business income you need before applying for this card ?

2. What is approval or denial chance if your business is just 1 year old ?

3. Can you use this card for personal use for just meeting minimum spending requirements and then solely use it for business?
