You did it wrong. And applying with your SSN had nothing to do with your decline. Don't pretend to have an elaborate business that you can't back up - even if you can stretch it to seem kinda plausible.

What you should have done (and could do in 30 days if you wish to reapply) is to simply apply as a "Sole Proprietor". From that point, pick a category/subcategory that makes sense for you, put minimal levels of income and years in business. I have gotten 3 Chase business cards doing exactly that (2 using my SSN, the 3rd with an EIN), as have a large number of other people - oddly enough, it is easier to get approved following those steps than for legitimate small business owners applying for their businesses.
That one has an annual fee and requires $5k spending from what I can see, but the CB and bonus amount are indeed better.
When I signed up years ago, basic Ebay sellers were viewed as a business. Today YMMV but I still have the card.

One thing to know, the buyer protections granted to customers of non-business VISA cards may not come with the business card. You may want to check carefully before using this card for higher risk purchases.

We have received your request for a Chase credit card. We'll let you know our decision by U.S. mail. This could take up to 30 days.

Called RECON line as per flowchart and was told that my application was rejected due to too many recent CC applications [5/24 rule]

Fark , so whoever told me 5/24 does not apply for business chase is wrong.

I got this in March when it was still just a $300 bonus, now that it's 500 has anyone been able to get them to match the new bonus? I'm still within the 90 days, so hoping they will.

Possibly they (or you) misunderstood.

There's 2 different things.

Chase business cards don't count toward 5/24 once you get one approved.

But they do check you are under 5/24 when applying for them.

Nobody (nobody here, at least) told you that 5/24 does not apply for getting this card - what you were likely told is that Chase business cards are not counted in determining your 5/24 status.

So I got my card and hit the 3000$ spent requirement. Is there anything I need to do or I will just have 50000 points added to my account in xxx time?

Also, how long should it take?

Thanks in advance.

Shouldn't need to do anything special, I didn't for my CSP and CFU. If you're close to the end of your monthly statement then it might show up on the next statement. I think on other Chase cards 4 days or more before statement close date and it should show on that statement, at least that's the number I remember being thrown around in those threads. If it doesn't make it on your current statement it should show as earnings on next statement under the Ultimate Rewards pages for that card once it's in their system as being earned.

I submitted my application, and got a letter recently requesting the below documents to proceed:

1. Name of Company
2. Proof of current business addreas
3. Federal Tax identification number.

Does anyone know how to answer these questions if you are not running an actual business?

You probably used a fictitious name instead of your own name

Send them a copy of your Social Security Card and Drivers License. It has your full name which is the legal name of your business, your home address which is your business address, and your SSN which is your Tax Identification Number. All of this assumes that is how you filled out your application. If not, you did it wrong.
