What you should have done (and could do in 30 days if you wish to reapply) is to simply apply as a "Sole Proprietor". From that point, pick a category/subcategory that makes sense for you, put minimal levels of income and years in business. I have gotten 3 Chase business cards doing exactly that (2 using my SSN, the 3rd with an EIN), as have a large number of other people - oddly enough, it is easier to get approved following those steps than for legitimate small business owners applying for their businesses.
One thing to know, the buyer protections granted to customers of non-business VISA cards may not come with the business card. You may want to check carefully before using this card for higher risk purchases.

All first-party Chase rewards cards (which I think is all of them other than the slate), both personal and business, only do points, not cash back, despite the terms people use about them.
People who don't travel (or don't know better) just treat them as cash back (1 cent per point)
People who do travel (and know better) instead get much more value per point out of them.
Third party chase cards (ie they are issued by chase but branded by a 3rd party like Marriott or Southwest) each have their own rewards systems tied to them instead.
I sell random stuff every other month on Ebay to clean out my garage. Used my ssn and set as sole proprietorship. Got approved for ink preferred no problem.
Long story short, I dont think you will have a problem either.

No instant approval. 30 days first, then I call a week later and was told approved. Really straightforward.

And yes, I'm one of the people with a business. They told they couldn't verify my business with a business credit bureau, but then said they would not accept tax info or invoices.....HUH???
This time I applied with business name exactly as my name and it was approved.

Yes, you get more money to use toward traveling, but sometimes it's not always a better deal. I have over $700 in UR that is worth a little over $900 through the travel portal, but i can get a much better package deal through bundling on a site like Travelocity or Priceline. It's also limited on what airlines it offers, or so I remember.
