You did it wrong. And applying with your SSN had nothing to do with your decline. Don't pretend to have an elaborate business that you can't back up - even if you can stretch it to seem kinda plausible.

What you should have done (and could do in 30 days if you wish to reapply) is to simply apply as a "Sole Proprietor". From that point, pick a category/subcategory that makes sense for you, put minimal levels of income and years in business. I have gotten 3 Chase business cards doing exactly that (2 using my SSN, the 3rd with an EIN), as have a large number of other people - oddly enough, it is easier to get approved following those steps than for legitimate small business owners applying for their businesses.
That one has an annual fee and requires $5k spending from what I can see, but the CB and bonus amount are indeed better.
When I signed up years ago, basic Ebay sellers were viewed as a business. Today YMMV but I still have the card.

One thing to know, the buyer protections granted to customers of non-business VISA cards may not come with the business card. You may want to check carefully before using this card for higher risk purchases.

This is only cash, not UR points, right?
This is 50K UR points when you transfer to your Chase Ink Preferred, Chase Sapphire Reserve, or Chase Sapphire Preferred. $500 if you do not have Chase premier travel credit card.

Just Curious about the annual income portion. I know I have qualifying credit and will be using the tips that everyone has posted. I actually do own a business and we will do around 150k this year. Should I put that number or something lower like 50k?

I got rejected too. I applied for too many Chase cards

Same here, got rejected for too many cards, but it shouldn't count against 5/24. Oh well hopefully the deal is around is 90 days.

I am about to apply for this card but the application form is asking for a Legal business name. I do not have one, but saw some posts where people were able to apply without having a business. Just curious as to what Legal business name was provided?

Edit 1: I reviewed some of the previous posts and see that people have applied with their name as the business name. Thank you!

Posting this here also. Just trying to get some advise. I have this Ink Business cash, but applied for the Business unlimited this morning.......

So I just got off the phone with the 1-800-243-6010 number. I was denied for this card due to it being to soon since I got my last business card(Ink business cash in April), and that my business was too new.

I listed sole proprietor with $1 income, and my name as the business name, using my SSN as the tax ID, as I did with my Ink business cash card. The rep on the phone wanted to know what the business was, how long, the income, etc. I was not asked ANY of that for the Ink Business cash card. It was approved very shortly into the call.

Do I have any options here? TIA

I applied on 8/26 and calling the 1-800 number still says "...we'll let you know in 30 days...". Is that normal? Or should i brace myself for a rejection?

It only means they have not yet processed your application. Call the 800 number after 48 hours, and it should change to 2 weeks (good) or 7 days (not good, it is in exception pending additional info).

I believe you cannot link your business account to your personal account, but you can do it the other way. You create a separate business online account. Once it is created, you can call the customer service and link your personal accounts to your business account. If you want to retain the username of your personal accounts, you have to change it to something else first and create the business account with your old username. I got this info from this thread (credit to them), and did it on my own.

So Chase linked your business account to your personal accounts? I thought they only link personal accounts to the business account. I didn't know they allow the other way.
