You did it wrong. And applying with your SSN had nothing to do with your decline. Don't pretend to have an elaborate business that you can't back up - even if you can stretch it to seem kinda plausible.

What you should have done (and could do in 30 days if you wish to reapply) is to simply apply as a "Sole Proprietor". From that point, pick a category/subcategory that makes sense for you, put minimal levels of income and years in business. I have gotten 3 Chase business cards doing exactly that (2 using my SSN, the 3rd with an EIN), as have a large number of other people - oddly enough, it is easier to get approved following those steps than for legitimate small business owners applying for their businesses.
That one has an annual fee and requires $5k spending from what I can see, but the CB and bonus amount are indeed better.
When I signed up years ago, basic Ebay sellers were viewed as a business. Today YMMV but I still have the card.

One thing to know, the buyer protections granted to customers of non-business VISA cards may not come with the business card. You may want to check carefully before using this card for higher risk purchases.

Since we have 0% apr for 12 months with this card on purchases initially, do we just charge our 3 grand worth of stuffznd pay it off gradually (if necessary)?

Yes you can carry a balance at 0% -- just make sure you pay at least the minimum amount due each month to keep your account in good standing

Bonus pts will be pending in rewards portal 2-5 days after charges are fully posted to your account -- they'll be available for use when your next statement generates
I met the spending limit in the first week I got the card, and the bonus points was never in Pending in rewards portal. Sure enough, 3 weeks later after the first closing statement, the bonus points were not posted to my account, only the regular UR points posted. I sent a secure message to Chase inquiring about the bonus, and they said it would take 6-8 weeks to post. Very strange, as I received the bonus from my other Chase card in the closing statement after I met the spending requirement. Could anyone comment when you actually receive the bonus for this card? Thanks.

Never mind, I just saw the other posts saying bonus posting is 8 weeks now, same as what Chase secure message said.

Chase has been delaying bonus payout for the past month so now you'll have to wait up to 8 weeks for it

Thanks for the info. It sucks when I need the UR points to buy flight tickets.

Unfortunately Chase didn't like that they had $330 million in rewards payout during 2nd quarter vs their $8.32 billion profit:

Like it or not, sooner or later, Chase has to fulfill the bonus UR points promise, so it does not matter.

Pending charges sometimes take a few days to post, but once they post, it will be counted towards the 3K purchasing requirement. Just need to patiently wait for the bonus awards. It will take 6-8 weeks.

How do you turn off credit cards from appearing on the front page. I have tried the preferences section by turning off financial offers but the keep appearing. Any thoughts?

Checked with chase. They have rejected because of another business card applied in March and relatively new business.
