You did it wrong. And applying with your SSN had nothing to do with your decline. Don't pretend to have an elaborate business that you can't back up - even if you can stretch it to seem kinda plausible.

What you should have done (and could do in 30 days if you wish to reapply) is to simply apply as a "Sole Proprietor". From that point, pick a category/subcategory that makes sense for you, put minimal levels of income and years in business. I have gotten 3 Chase business cards doing exactly that (2 using my SSN, the 3rd with an EIN), as have a large number of other people - oddly enough, it is easier to get approved following those steps than for legitimate small business owners applying for their businesses.
That one has an annual fee and requires $5k spending from what I can see, but the CB and bonus amount are indeed better.
When I signed up years ago, basic Ebay sellers were viewed as a business. Today YMMV but I still have the card.

One thing to know, the buyer protections granted to customers of non-business VISA cards may not come with the business card. You may want to check carefully before using this card for higher risk purchases.

Chase business apps should be limited to once every 30 days

Approved for $12,000. Was surprised it was so little. First Chase card. Credit score of 720-735 depending on which agency. Average income of $250,000. Oh well. Will use it to pay a $3,000 invoice and get the $500 bonus.

Yes, just be sure that you wait at least 30 days from the date that you applied for the Preferred card.

Greetings all,

I just started an llc a couple months ago. I haven't made any profits yet but what do I need to put in order to get at least 10k credit line. Also, is the approval process as simple as those that applied as sole proprietors with their real name/ssn? Thanks.

Wow just got approved even though my score from Jan 30 was 655. I got a notice saying they would review it and I just called after 2 days of no response and they said my card would be here within 7 business days. I did get rid of 80% of my overall debt this month after working hard over the holidays and just finally being able to pay it off so I'm sure my score went back in the 700+ range. I used to have an 800 score back in 2017 but fell on some personal hard times over the year and now I'm doing a lot better. This will definitely help towards my purchase for my CPA exam review which will benefit my sole proprietorship technically Wink It also gives me 12 months 0% apr so I can focus on also eliminating my remaining debt first while allowing me to finally start studying asap!

If this is your first Chase business card you need to create your business login, then call chase and ask them to put your personal cards on the business login.

I forgot to temporarily lift my Transunion freeze prior applying. My credit karma informed me the credit inquiry was blocked. I called the automated application status and it says I should receive a letter within 7 to 10 business days. I know Chase declined the application because they couldn't access my credit inquiry. I got chase ink business two months ago. My question is should I wait for the denial letter or just go ahead and reapply ? I lifted my Transunion freeze already.

Any idea how long this will be going on, seems to have been running a while, I'm curious if I can wait until April.

Would someone be so nice as to post the chase flowchart again? For pending approval. I seem to have lost mine in the thousands of pictures on my phone. 😳
