You did it wrong. And applying with your SSN had nothing to do with your decline. Don't pretend to have an elaborate business that you can't back up - even if you can stretch it to seem kinda plausible.

What you should have done (and could do in 30 days if you wish to reapply) is to simply apply as a "Sole Proprietor". From that point, pick a category/subcategory that makes sense for you, put minimal levels of income and years in business. I have gotten 3 Chase business cards doing exactly that (2 using my SSN, the 3rd with an EIN), as have a large number of other people - oddly enough, it is easier to get approved following those steps than for legitimate small business owners applying for their businesses.
That one has an annual fee and requires $5k spending from what I can see, but the CB and bonus amount are indeed better.
When I signed up years ago, basic Ebay sellers were viewed as a business. Today YMMV but I still have the card.

One thing to know, the buyer protections granted to customers of non-business VISA cards may not come with the business card. You may want to check carefully before using this card for higher risk purchases.

Chase is a bunch of idiots... They asked me for proof of my EIN... Hello it's issue by the government.... And they wanted proof of my business address....hello it's my home address I'm a sole proprietor.... I'm a previous customer I don't know what the hell they are doing.

The government gave you an EIN verification letter when you got the EIN -- send that

And they can verify my info with the government. They don't need me to fax them a picture of a piece of paper that the government gave me. Either its a valid EIN which matches my name or it isn't. Capital one issued me a Spark Cash card without any paperwork...my point is, they are a bunch of idiots asking for stuff that doesn't matter.

Sure you can apply for all 3 - nothing stopping you from doing that. Just expect to be rejected for at least the latter 2 of those 3 applications though.

Most likely yes. Chase has a 'soft' 1/30 rule for business cards - a few people how reported being approved for 2 Chase business cards within a month of each other, but even those examples are fairly rare. Haven't heard of anyone getting 3, and I wouldn't recommend trying.

It's better to space out applications by 2-3 months. Too many, too quickly results in wasted hard pulls and rejections.

Has anyone done this card (or the other 2 Chase business cards) more than once? I've done CIP, CIU, and CIU while getting bonuses for all three about a year ago. I recently product changed the CIP to CIU to avoid paying the annual fee a 2nd time. I was able to apply for a 2nd CIP (I used a EIN this time around but have heard that people have used SSN for both times) and referred myself. So currently I have CIP, 2 CIU, and CIC. I'm wondering if I can/should apply for an additional CIC and CIU (using EIN this time around) - any advice?

It's been reported that Chase is cracking down on self referrals.
