Yes, they have pockets. I bought 4 pair last year and love them. I'm a 32-34 waist and 5'11 and wear a medium. I found the Large too long, I hate when they drag across the floor. I can't speak as to weather or not they shrink, I only wash them and hang dry. When I put any fleece in my dryer it's gets static cling. Edit:spelling

In jeans, I wear a 34 length (as well as 34 in waist) and am 6' tall. The medium are plenty long enough and is what I own. When standing straight, they touch the back of my heel and just barely hit the floor (not to the point of dragging, but close). I agree, when I tried them on in the store, I found the large to be way too large; more for a "big and tall" category. I have washed and dried my mediums weekly for years, and they have not shrunk (granted, we tumble try on low). The 40% polyester helps with that. Also, having an elastic waist with drawstring helps too so that if there is shrinking, it's barely noticeable.

I am wearing a pair right now, bought last winter or spring, or maybe the year before. In the spring I cut off the legs and make shorts out of them. The six pairs I bought just now will be for next winter, and so I can go ahead and chop the ones I have now into shorts.

I guess it's one of my "Rites Of Spring" - turn my winter lounge pants into summer lounge shorts.
