These are quite durable. After nearly 3 years, the left speaker is making a weird rattle sound but these have lasted me a long time and have survived at least 3 accidental washes in the washer.
Contemplating another pair but I don't run as much anymore and when I'm in the gym I use a over head ears headphones as I like my music LOUD
My wife was so proud a few Christmas seasons back getting these for me from Best Buy. She hardly ever knows what to get me but the sales person said these were the best.
These are so quiet. They aren't all that comfortable either. You can hear any and all background noise using them, and it's a shame because at the time she paid over $125 for them!
Amazon search for SOUNDPEATS and pay $30 for them instead.
Bought these for my wife and she loves them. They're not supposed to create a tight seal in your ear to block out noise, which is a good thing if you're running and want awareness of your surroundings. Airpods or stock Apple iPod/iPhone headphones are the same in this regard. Comfort-wise, everyone's ears are different, but no issue here. These are recommended by The Wirecutter as the best running headphones: https://thewirecutter.com/reviews...eadphones/
For comparison, I have the Soundpeats actually and find them less comfortable, but I generally don't like wedging ear buds that deep in my ears. Bottom line, it's a matter of preference with pros & cons to noise isolation.

BackBeat Fit are awesome for the gym and my preferred pair there; I have used mine for a couple years now, and notice a huge percentage of other people at my gym use the same model daily.
The only caveat is if they don't fit, there is no swappable or customizable earpieces.
I had these for 6 months, They sit outside your ear not really snug inside which people may not like. Yes you do hear everything in background, but it also means you're more aware of your surroundings for you to hear cars while running outside. Unfortunately mine got bricked during a update when my phone's bluetooth connection cut off. I replaced it with some Anker wireless buds but are worse compared to these. At this price, I'm kind of tempted to rebuy them and just not do any updates. I had previously bought it from Costco for about $60.
you can find these new from various sellers on ebay for around $40
Also daily steals had these refurbed for a similar price recently and a lot of people got dead units. Obviously groupon > daily steals but just caution; could be same supplier.
+1 to all the other commenters saying these are great for gym and running. Good to have awareness of your surroundings while still hearing whatever you're listening to just fine.

The Daily Steals ones were actually listed as "New" and were clearly used, not refurbished. People were' getting them with earwax on them.
There's no way these ones will be that bad but I think I'd still pass on anything other than new ones when it comes to in-ear stuff.

Same here. I purchased a few years back and hardly used them. I went to charge them this weekend and they are dead.
