Fyi, avoid buying digital copies (Vudu, iTunes, etc.) of movies with IMAX scenes in them (e.g., Christopher Nolan films like Dunkirk, Dark Knight, Interstellar, etc.). They crop the IMAX shots at the top and bottom, and add black bars.

Stick with blu-ray or 4K blu-ray disc, until these digital services fix this issue (if they ever). Disc versions don't crop the IMAX scenes.

I made the mistake of buying Dunkirk in UHD on Vudu and all the IMAX scenes are cropped at the top and bottom, and it's really disappointing.

Seems like a great deal. Such a shame because I just rented Blade Runner from Amazon. The movie is gorgeous, exciting, and only $4 more than my rental.

Support movies like Blade Runner 2049 so more of them get made!!!

And you have to find room to store/organize all those discs. Figure out how to get them on different types of devices/screens. Quickly get the same movie on all your kids' devices in preparation for a trip via digital. Don't have to worry about the disc getting scratched or lost... the list goes on.

There is a place in the modern world for both.

Thanks for letting me know, I corrected it. Hopefully there aren't more errors. I was multi-tasking trying to finish spending the T-Mobile Vudu credits on MD2D orders and my eyes feel like they are going to bleed.

Used to love adding digital to my vudu library. Then I had a terrible customer service experience, good way for me to save money I guess lol.

I have bought 40 movies the last few months on Vudu and only watched 5. Between HBO Now and my 4k Fire TV with Kodi I always find something else to watch.

Fyi, avoid buying digital copies (Vudu, iTunes, etc.) of movies with IMAX scenes in them (e.g., Christopher Nolan films like Dunkirk, Dark Knight, Interstellar, etc.). They crop the IMAX shots at the top and bottom, and add black bars.

Stick with blu-ray or 4K blu-ray disc, until these digital services fix this issue (if they ever). Disc versions don't crop the IMAX scenes.

Edge of Seventeen is a Universal "sale of the day", but unlike the Fox sale of the day they usually linger for half a day or a day longer before they go off sale.

Last I checked Samsung TV's had an issue with UHD VUDU Movies, I had to get a refund on UHD Blade Runner 2049
