While at HD this morning I saw the Ryobi 18-Volt ONE+ Impact Wrench Kit (Tool, Battery, Charger) P1830 on sale for the unheard of price of $70. Ubviously this is a YMMV deal, but if you can find one it would be a no-brainer. I found mine at the HD in Homer Glen, IL, but the price does not show up on their web site. This item hit FP last December for $99 and June for $119. (link for reference only)

Love mine! It's a great tool and imho is more than worth it even just for changing tires as it sure beats using the lug wrench. The battery power is convenient in no hose or tanks to mess with(though that direction may still be cheaper even with this deal). It also has more than enough power to pull the lugs off my half ton truck.
For those who do their own auto work, it may be worth while just for the freedom it grants from the compressor and hose. It'll probably have issues if you have lugs that require a lot of torque, though most car tires should be perfectly fine.

I've had the opposite experience with mine, it's busted bolts loose that my 400 ft/lb air impact has had trouble with. One thing I've noticed is that it's imperative to use a fresh 4ah battery to get best performance.
I think it's worth it just because it feels like cheating when I go pull parts for my car in the u-pull junk yard (I'm a cheapskate, don't like to buy parts).
