For anyone wondering, the PS4 Gold Wireless Headset works flawlessly on Windows 10 without any additional setup. Just plugged mine in and it worked.

Agreed on the plug and play and the sound is amazing but the Mic is definitely not the greatest. All my friends tells me that I sound like I am far away and talking into a tube. The advance option in windows 10 only let you boost it a tiny bit.

Of you prefer the older model of the Gold headset, check out this Seller:

I sent a $22 offer and Seller accepted, came in new condition.
Doesn't include the Bluetooth dongle, but great for a replacement if you have the dongle already.

I understand that the newer version used the same dongle.

Not bad, I found Brand new at a Walmart for closeout for $25, didnt realize how good they were for wireless until I started using them in FPS games.

Yeah, missed the clearance on these, not many has them in stock.
Found an Uncharted edition for $35 at Mercari in new / open box condition.

Have three of them now. Love them, plenty of spares. Replaced ear pads on original that is still great, even threw it on the floor once in frustration in a game and no issues at all, hinges are still great.

Comfortable enough to wear to bed and listen to music.

FYI on the New gold headset:

I bought one when it was on sale at urlhasbeenblocked. The sound and the design are both great, but I party chat a lot and the microphone quality is *terrible* (at least wirelessly). I would return it but I already got rid of the box. Just a heads up.

Edit: if anyone has any recommendations for a separate microphone, I'd appreciate it.
