That's such a good deal, now all I need is a Switch...

Somebody else already mentioned that the Power A wired controller doesn't have HD rumble, I believe it also lacks motion controls and an amiibo reader. I really don't think most people are going to miss the amiibo reader since there is already one on the joycons. And a lot of games don't use motion controls, so probably not essential features to most people.

No. You can press the controller button even without switch . Start playing your controller now.

Order soon before the market is flooded with the new SoC that isn't hackable through software.

Genuine question, is there a significant difference between the elite pro controller and the $30 super Mario themed controllers? I own the Mario one and am pretty happy with it, only thing I notice is that it's straight up cable and no wireless, also the thumb sticks are exchangeable.

I think that one doesn't have HD rumble.

It's a great controller. Beware that the dpad is not great though, but it's better than the joycon's

Oh okay, thank you. I assume that's the reason why they feel so light compared to other controllers. Had no idea.

I think Mario ones must be plugged in and with Pro it's just an option... 🤷 ♂️
