Thanks OP, got mine today. I have the shallow model and am very happy with it.

Always wished it was deeper and am happy to upgrade.

now the question is, so pick it up or have it delivered?

shizz is 220lbs. and i only have an rx350
I picked one up today thanks to the OP and it fit in my CX-5 without issue. I had to load it on its side with the rear seats down but that's expected. It's heavier to load since it has to be lifted, but I unloaded by myself onto a crawler with some cardboard protecting the bumper. Once the casters and handles are on, it's easy to move. I'm pleased with it, especially for the price.

On a side note, this unit does include drawer liners for all drawers and the deep, lower drawers have dual sliders to support more weight. Also the top is fastened to the top, unlike the video form another post may have suggested. Overall, its very much built like the Yukon model from that video.

LOL

I bet they are way younger than you and are expecting everything to their benefit, the way our younger generation is today, without wanting any of the requirements of responsibilities.

LOL

I also have M18 gear and wonder about the bottom drawer space - but this looks like a pretty good deal, regardless.

Picked mine up tonight. Just make sure you have help when loading and unloading, this thing is heavy. The HD guys used the forklift to load it into the truck, but 2 of us were able to unload it.

I got the $199 version last fall. FWIW, I spent a few months hitting goodwill every weekend and grabbing any silverware trays that were box-shaped instead of contoured for specific silverware, and ended up getting (although random colors and materials) plenty of tool holding/separating zones for super cheap.

Now if only I could find a replacement for my original large socket set case- the plastic holder is falling apart and (at the time) I didn't know to either backfill with foam or cast it with resin or something to make it lifetime.

The 3 HD guys at my store looked at it, looked at the truck, and then went to find a forklift, lol. Thanks for posting those pictures, looks like you got a couple other things during this sale?

if the HF tool chest were just better, I wouldn't be saying much about it considering that it's $100 more, but it is MUCH better. I have it in my garage and the thing is solid. It is built with 18 gauge steel while this Husky is 22 gauge. The difference is night and day. I have a cheap craftsman tool chest in my basement that is 22 gauge steel and it is a POS.

I think people should really take a look at both tool chests thoroughly before they make a decision. If you are using this to hold several tools and planning on putting some serious weight on it wouldn't you consider buying something that was more sufficient?

As I said I played around with this specific tool chest along with the Milwaukee 52" and I was disappointed with both.
I don't doubt that your Craftsman is 22 gauge and is a POS. However, this Husky, not the one in your comparison, is not 22 gauge, and it is not a POS.

I was at a Home Depot today and checked out this tool chest. It's really pretty nice with solid drawers, 100 pound slides, double on the big drawers, and a huge wooden work surface on top. I'm not sure that there is anything even comparable at Harbor Freight but I'm glad that you're happy with whatever you got there, even though it was 40% more expensive than this box. I just don't think that you are giving this one a fair chance because of the confusion with the other box in your video.

One HD guy about 60 y/o and myself loaded it into my van, got it out myself... It's not that bad if you use leverage and padding.

Damn. I've only had this thing for less than a day and I've already lost two of its keys.

How much are replacements?

I got a $20 off $200 coupon on ebay for $3.35 to trim another $16.65 off this price. Coupon came via e-mail within 5 minutes of ebay order and I printed off and took to store, no issues using it. 2 HD guys and I loaded it into my Ford Explorer, it was a tight fit. I managed to unload myself as an average joe, just did it slowly and carefully as it is very heavy.
