I caught this on a recent trip at the Santa Rosa CA Costco. Its three bottles a 12, 15 and Nadurra. The last one is 60.4% proof probably has to have a little water added. this is a great deal because the 12 by itself is $27 at Costco and $35 at most stores.

Haha I notice alcohol at stores is alot more in other states. Sort of lucky to hit these clearances at costco every so often. If they never went on sale we'd probably stick with Bullit Rye or the random Sazzarac Whiskey they have for around $22.
Quick google says nadurra by iteself is worth $60ish

Link? I wouldn't believe this stuff. Costco is generally pretty good with their products.
thats just stupid and wrong
Did you read it on the internets?
THIS IS TOTALLY UNTRUE- Good grief. Did they open the Glenlivet bottles, water them down, get additional empty bottles for the excess and then reseal them?
Scotch is minimum 40% or 60-63% cask strength. No-one is "watering it down"
According to EC directives, a whisky must have a minimum alcohol content of 40% ABV
he is talking bollocks
thats was a preposterous and embarrassing comment
It is perfectly legal because they tell you that it is being done by the label information, unless you are claiming that Costco falsifies the labels to inflate the ABV of their scotches, which is definitely illegal and would massively f'them over with the ABC. Pretty much any Scotch you buy other than bottles sold as "Cask Strength" has been watered down by the distiller before being bottled and distributed.
Ya but these are glenlevit, not Kirkland. And they do add water but only to bring them down to 80 proof, the minimum by law for spirits. And that's down from like 90 proof usually so it's not a big deal considering they sell them for half the price of the branded version.
Thanks for the heads up, gonna hit up a couple of Costcos today.
