Not especially anymore since almost all companies have to shill for reviews to get their product started. Anker makes great stuff and has very good customer service in my experience.

56k resistor is said to protect from sending too much power to your device..this is especially important if you choose to charge a Nintendo switch (but this just is currently a theory)

This is usb 2.0. this cable is only good for charging and slow transfers.
When it comes to usb cables, thats a whole lot of nothing.
There's usb 3.0, gen 1 and gen 2. Then there's usb c - usb c and power delivery. Then there's thunderbolt and display port support.
This cable is literally the one of the lowest end modern cables you can get. If you get it, you're getting it for the warranty or color
