if you are traveling with someone.. rent a car and drive the car back.. but i would start south and go north to pick it up.. so when i travel back south i can drop off the rental..

Like any rental car, they hit you for insurance. I think you can waive and you might have coverage through your own auto policy or credit card ymmv

Is it just me or does this seem like a lot of trouble for a short week in an RV? Unless you live in Iowa and were about to book one to one of the cities anyway, this deal just doesn't seem slick to me.

Has anyone done the math with insurance to see what this would cost versus regularly?

Repped just because it's a cool concept. They also have various deals in Australia. That is on my bucket list, so good to know I could fly out there and drive an RV across the country at a low rate.

Non-refundable deposit? That's an oxymoron and doesn't make any sense. Deposits, by definition, are refundable once conditions are met.

I hope they'll do this deal again starting in September.

Duh, yeah, must have had a mind fart.

The fact that you have to start in Iowa kind of kills it for a lot of people, I would think.

I did a deal like this with an outfit named Canadream years ago. We went from Calgary to White Horse in the Yukon Territory, it was pretty cool.
If I remember correctly, we only had to pay for fuel, everything else was covered by the company.
