Actually this is consistent with T&C I see online, i.e.

Which is a lot more attractive than terms listed in OP.
That's about 99% of what I buy at Kmart. Maybe it works on automotive, tools, oil, etc.? Those are other "go to" items that I like to buy for these kinds of deals.

SO, in the end, they could not give me a clear cut reason why I was disqualified.

Just a tip if you are placing an order to maybe not do either of those things.
On the other hand, "Extreme Grip Tools" are a tad gimmicky to start with imo.
