This was a FP deal a couple weeks ago, but that expired. Now back at this $139 price for those that missed it.

I bought this last week when the other PWs were on sale for $70.

This is the my first PW so I have no comparison point, and only used it once this past weekend. Used it to clean my house stone walls, concrete driveway and car.

The foam cannon uses a quick connect to the wand, it won't fall off, its not something you hand twist onto the wand, not sure what the other poster is talking about, maybe they changed the model recently. It foams pretty well, you can manually adjust the dial to change amount of foam vs soap used.

The PW didn't seem very loud, the connections feel stable and high quality, the wheels and handle make it easy move around.

Power wise, I used all the settings except the red nozzle, the white/green used on the car and the yellow used on the stone walls and concrete pavement. The yellow wasn't enough to get rid of some stains or paint. I wouldn't buy a PW with less power than this, if this is really 2150 PSI, I'd definitely wouldn't be happy with a 1600 PSI , especially one with less GPM, this one is 1.4 GPM and it gets tiring cleaning walls or floors due to the amount of area needing cleaning and the water only being 3-4 inches wide with the yellow tip.

With equipment, its best not to go too cheap because than you'll never use it because its inconvenient, or it break and more money is spent buying another one or on repair. This one seems to be the sweet spot. If you want more power, you'd have to jump to gas which is 2X the price, 3X the power. Hiring someone wouldn't be less than $99 so just using this 2X to clean the house walls/floors I've broken even.

Beware the online reviews talk about the motor switch breaking if you release the wand handle and engage it quickly within 1-2 seconds. If you let go, wait a few seconds before engaging the wand again.

This is as low as it's ever been, so I'd say it's a pretty good deal. Thanks for posting. Just got the Sun Joe deal a few days ago, otherwise I'd buy this one. FWIW, the Sun Joe SPX4000 is still on sale for $129 + free shipping at BJs despite being 'expired'.

Bought one last deal. Used it last weekend. I like it to clean. Don't expect to clean the driveway though as it would take all day or at least a couple hours.

Try a surface cleaner attachment. There was one FP last week. I use it on my similarly-powered green works washer to do my driveway and it works really well. Saves a ton of time too.

Thanks! I live in a townhome community so they are supposed to do it. Don't know their cadence though. I told my wife that I could do it but won't since we are paying for it already!

Consider yourself lucky, at my townhome my HOA just provides a (gas) pressure washer in the community shed, they don't ever actually clean anything for you...Mad

If all one plans on doing with this is wash vehicles is this overkill? Is a 'foam cannon' really necessary?

TIA

Not overkill at all for car washing. I use to use a high pressure gas model, that's overkill. Foam cannon is a nice add-on to use, some swear by it, others can do without. Since it's included, why not!

I plan on buying one also since this model has a brass hose connector instead of plastic that could leak after repeated use.

I got one last time it was at this same price, I only got it for car washing, the included foam cannon is OK but if you move the wand too fast the plastic container falls off because it uses a twist-on twist-off connection to the spray nozzle. In my opinion it is excellent for washing cars as it gets the job done fairly quick, I bought a different foamer for $20 but still haven't used it.

They make a couple cheaper/lower pressure versions so was wondering if spending the extra $ was worth it...

Personally, I like the extra pressure, especially when cleaning wheels. Aside from using my loud gas model, I have been searching for a while and missed other deals that was cheaper.

I plan on ordering from Walmart. The price is decent. I like the PSI, brass fitting and the included foam cannon
