Mine lasted 1yr from being in the sun. Plastic thread melted to the hose causing leakage

Menards has it for an original price of $40, and then for a sale price of $35. With rebate it comes to about $31. The location is South of Indianapolis. Link: https://www.menards.com/main/outd...-13104.htm

I bought one a couple of years ago and it barely lasted me a year. I stored it in my shed during the winter also.

So I just bought this to replace my broken metal cart that I had. I bought this knowing that it would be a temporary replacement until I could find another good deal on a metal cart. I feel like it's going to break every time I wind the handle to reel the hose in. Time will tell on quality, but I will be surprised if it lasts til the end of summer.

NO! I have had three broken within two years of use. The lead hose connector is just too weak. Don't believe in their three-year warranty. You are not going to be able to get it from them. I replaced mine with Gorilla hose reels.

I've had mine 3 years so far plus it survived a year in the Phoenix summer without shattering into pieces like most plastic items left outdoors.
