My 13-inch Macbook Pro 2012 is holding on for dear life now, I think I need to let this baby rest. Lol thinking of getting the 15.4" one this time though! Thanks a lot for this, big help.

Sheesh, I have a 2011 MPB that's still kicking a$$ daily. Installed an SSD and some RAM and she keeps up with the best of them.

Is the 15.4 for $1649 the same one that sold for $1499 during the flash sale last week? I just missed out on that wondering if it'll go to that price again, not sure why they don't just clear them all out the laptop was a 2015 model if I recall.

That was this one [bestbuy.com]. Its a 2015 model (4th gen i7). These are for the current gen. Personally I prefer the older ones. Upgradeable, old style keyboard. With applecare its all the same difference.
