Did you try using the coupon code that OP posted?
Seems like a lot of money for some leather... granted I haven't bought a glove in 20 years though.
you know, i thought same, BUT, i will tell you one thing: high quality leather is very expensive... i have some exp with stuff for leather straps, cases, etc... most leather is kinda crappy and unfinished... that's where $ is. these seem to be very nice gloves

I am dumb, I see the code now, it worked.
UA did put a lot of work in to making these gloves and have gotten pretty good feedback for the most part, I only seen a few guys who use these, all were happy with it.
When I looked in to getting one, the cheapest I could find was $360+ (that was a while back). For $200 im in!
However, I do believe you can make any glove great (unless it's total junk).

Aren't the gloves that real professional players buy a lot more expensive than this?

i dont know, per say as I don't play baseball, but i'd imagine pro's gloves differ in 2 ways:
1. they are prob custom sized for them
2. most like gloves that are broken in and oiled and such, so they are very flexible... i imagine they get 10-15 gloves before spring training starts and have interns spend weeks oiling them and breaking them in...
You can get an A2000 or A2k for close to $200 if you shop... most MLB players I would say use the Wilson A2000
But that is rock bottom shopping...and goes way up from there

The only way you usually find those gloves less that $250 is if they are made with different colors schemes

Iconian already gave the best possible reason for the price, in addition to the extra you pay for the UA brand name.
