I have a reason. A lot of big-name franchises become half-rushed, microtransaction-filled money-grabs. Pre-ordering based on a franchise promotes this behavior. It only takes a little self control to wait on reviews of a game first before handing your hard-earned money to these publishers. I'm not saying this Tomb Raider is going to be a bad game. The last two were great. Let's just be smart consumers and see how it turns out.

First two games were great, but be wary of this one. Early impressions from sources have been uninspiring, a lot of linear quick time events leading to cutscenes etc. They specifically cited it being inferior to 1/2. I'd personally wait for full release and research before paying so early.
