The product is not available to either

(i) current cardmembers of any Sapphire credit card, or

(ii) previous cardmembers of any Sapphire credit card who received a new cardmember bonus within the last 24 months.

If you are an existing Sapphire customer and would like this product, please call the number on the back of your card to see if you are eligible for a product change.

You will not receive the new cardmember bonus if you change products.

Total bummer that a similar 80,000 point offer is not available on the Chase Sapphire Reserve card: I would be all over it. The Sapphire Reserve has a much higher annual fee and attracts a much wealthier clientele: I am very surprised they are not making a similar offer for that card.

Pretty sure they lost their ass on the 100k CSR card, they quickly changed some of the terms and dropped it to 50k.

There's 100k on the CIP right now though. Unfortunately I'm under 1/30 right now so I can't get it. Bummer.

What's the CIP and what do you mean by "I'm under 1/30"

Chase ink preferred
1/30 means one application in 30 days.

Yeah I thought they had offered 100k for like $3k spend or something really low like that? $20k seems to be a bit much.

This "deal" is pretty awful...

the first 50k is for 4k spend- that's the normal offer and has been for years.

The extra 30k points for 20k spend is simply a terrible use of spend compared to doing other signups... (hell, it's not even a good use of non signup spend if you can get a decent % of it into 3x or 5x categories)

Just letting everyone know as friendly advice..

You can spend 3-5k on pretty much any of the chase cards (including southwest) and get $500 + cash back / giftcards.

Spending 20k to earn 30k points is literally a horrible use of this card. You can x5 your money elsewhere

I got the CSR for 100K points with only 4K spend. I imagine Chase lost a lot of money on that card offering.

But this is a horrible deal like others have said. I wonder if this is part of Chase's testing phase on what will attract new clients and what won't.

Don't see any info on sign up a secondary and annual fee.
And if the secondary has a Chase Sapphire Reserved the primary still qualify for the bonus points?

After spending $20k, would you end up with 100k points (50k sign up bonus plus 30k additional and 20k points from spending $20k) or that additional 30k points include the points from $20k spending?

You're talking about the Chase Ink Preferred business card that requires the in-branch application, or something else? Many people can't qualify for that, but if there's a way around it, please let me know.
