Shell is the most expensive gas here in nyc... but what is it exactly we have to do? Never used chase app/rewards before

shell is O.K. in NYC, it all depends on locations. I use shell when T-Mobile Tuesdays is giving 25¢/gal discount. You need to get a reward account, add it to chasepay app, open chaseapp/PAY/At the pump/activae the pump, the you will get a number to enter to activat the pump. Not bad since chasepay with freedom card give you 5% CB this quarter.

So you save .35/gallon exactly once...? For my ~15 gallon tank that's about $5. Not sure it's worth the commotion. Are there any other benefits to using the fuel rewards app?

Also, how does one redeem the rewards? And is the chase amazon card eligible or is it only for the freedom cardholders?

Yes it does. Lots of good info can be found if you search for the original posting of this deal a few months ago when it began.

I did this before and just saw the offer again in app. Will give it a try and see if it works again. Gotta fill gas anyways.

anyone know how to get the chase pay app to work on note 8? it says rooted or have malware, which I don't. is it not supported on note 8? also for the paypal 5% with chase cc, can i use samsung pay, and link my paypal to it which will link my chase cc, does that qualify for the 5% paypal with chase cc?
