When comparing shipping/packing tape prices always look at the cost per yard. If you buy rolls retail, they are usually only 55 yard rolls. If you buy at a shipping supply store, each roll will usually have twice that amount. If you go to the dollar store each roll may only have 10 yards or less on it.

Just like other products, they play games with roll sizes and prices.

Also, look at the thickness of the tape when comparing prices.

A good place to buy the big rolls, especially if you need a lot of them, is on ebay. But look for the sellers that specialize in shipping supplies and have good ratings.

This is twice the amount of tape, free shipping from Office Depot for $15.34. Cheaper than this deal.

This is a few cents cheaper, and no need for SS

I have decided Sparco is the best packing tape I have ever used and will buy it above all others if I have a choice and it even costs more.

I realized this from a deal here last year on Sparco tape that I had said why the hell not to. Thick, quality stuff.

I don't know about their packaging tape, but their Duct tape is only good for a Door stop.

Honestly, whichever packing tape I got from ducky is super thin. I prefer scotch packing tape.

True.

99 Cent Stores has 55 yard tapes for a buck but they're really thin. They have their applications such as good on very light weight stuff. For boxes and such they won't do because you have to use double the tape anyway, and in that case this deal for heavy duty tape is far better.

If you do a lottttttttttta shipping this might be a better deal per yard: 36 rolls of 2.1 mil, each roll is 150 yards
