I got one from the same seller. So far so good. Mine was brand new with 0 power-on time when it arrived.

1.99% of all laptops are compatible with this for factor 2.5".
2. Google your model and look up for a manual or youtube is your friend, replacing the SSD is the simplest task in most laptops these days.
3. Use Macrium, there is a free edition you can download it online and it will do the job just fine, again, watch some YouTube videos for more instructions, the software is very easy to use and noob friendly.

I got one too from the last sale. Just copied my previous SSD over and it's working seemlessly.

I've only had mine for a few days, but it's working great so far. Used CrystalDisk to make sure it didn't have bad sectors and hadn't been used, and it really was new and no issues. I hadn't cloned a hard drive before and I initially messed up with Macrium and it cloned the same size as my old drive, but I was able to expand the partition to its actual capacity.
