So, what exactly is a gayberry?

Quote from wiles :
Uh, who's gonna take this one?

I'll give it a shot.
It's a made up term (I think Briang developed the slang but for some it caught on like wildfire) for any kind of berry or fruit that a person would use to make a fruit smoothie to drink, instead of drinking beer like a manly man, such as Briang.
Some people even speak the language Gayberrolian.

How'd I do Matt?

do you wear sexy librarian glasses while you do taxes? laugh out loud
Roll sometimes. I usually wear them on weekends if I am not going anywhere to give my eyeballs a break from the contacts. My sister has a face where all glasses look really cute and smart on her. I was never able to rock the glasses look. If my employer would ever do a Section 125 plan, I would totally get the eye surgery that cures wearing glasses.

I look bad in glasses too.

At least this far in life, I have escaped wearing glasses. I would say just about everyone in my family has to wear them on a regular basis.

yeah but what will you do to earn a living? What kind of accounting are you into?
Secret let your friends buy you dinner and stuff for payment. Totally worth the prep time nod
My undergrad degrees were in English and Political Science, minor in Sociology.
Dont ask why about the Soc it just kind of happened.
Graduate, I went for public admin, ended up on the Quantitative Research Methods track-- , which nearly parallelled the Financial Resources Management track, so I did both. I wanted a PHd but my idiot ex was like no get a job, even though I was accepted at Syracuse Mad. So I worked for the county for 5 years, got burned out, but ended up getting tons of accounting experience. I worked for a software firm for 1 year as the accounting support for the company that I used to be a client of, go figure, but I got really burned out. I freaking just quit one day in abject exhaustion and frustration and thought whatever. I then needed a job and hooked up with an accounting firm doing books and taxes. Huge pay cut but man I learned a lot that year. I figured I'd hang out enough time to get a CPA and then move on, but a good opportunity showed up in local government and I missed the action. So I never got enough hours for a CPA Mad

I'm heading into financial accounting, hopefully. I don't really enjoy managerial and I don't want to be a tax accountant.

I look smokin in shades, at least that helps. I always wanted to look foxy in a pair of cat's eye ones glasses, but it never happened.

Taxes are on and off and then you may have to pick up auditing, which requires special peer reviews and cost $ and suck time wise. Cost accounting is the way to $$$$
