It's not a bad phone. I have got an open box 2017 version for $160 from Amazon and I really liked it. Although CPU was something like 430 chipset but everything was smooth, no glitches, bunch of updates up into Oreo 8.1, clean android, no junk, good sound (both speaker and mic and earpiece). Just a good overall phone. 2018 has a better CPU (630) and camera I think. For a simple all-aluminum phone that feels quick and reliable so far and gets all the latest updates as quick as Pixels - I don't mind that price point. I also have Moto X4 which I primarily use, same price and specs, smaller screen, may seem overpriced but I love it.
Carl Zeiss back camera lense. aluminum unibody design. Qualcomm Octa-core 630 chipset. Android One Oreo. Dual camera picture and video. Finger print reader. Should I keep going? there is more.
For someone with a handle of 'phonexpert', you'd think they'd know that Microsoft divested itself of Nokia two years ago

At $270, what is the selling point? Not a dig, just trying to understand.

I'd call up Verizon and check. I didn't think you could use ATT phones on Verizon but my brother brought his AT&T iPhone over to Verizon and it works fine.

On another note, I'd double check with BH Photo if its a factory warranty or their warranty. I sent my Lumia 950XL in for warranty work (stupid decision) and it took them 3 months to get it back to me and even then it wasn't the same phone because I called them up and bitched about how long it took they just sent me a refurbished one they had in stock instead.

Usually these world-wide versions don't come with factory warranties, maybe the Nokia is different though.

Major selling point seems to be vanilla Android and quick "Nexus" like updates due to it being Android One. Specs seem pretty good too though.
