Going to Ikea and getting their 4pk of Eneloop rechargeable AAs for $7.99 and their USB 2xAA charger for $1.99 is a much better idea.
This is a really good deal for a nice Xbox One S integrated battery charging solution for $12ish.

However, for the long run, I'd suggest getting some eneloop AA batteries (Eneloop rechargeable AA's and AAA's are hands down the most consistent and reliable low self discharge NiMH batteries out and are well liked by battery enthusiasts) with a independent 4 channel charger (The charger charges each battery independently therefore lengthening their life.) The 2000 mAh batteries will last much longer and you'll have the flexibility to use the batteries in other devices.

The Eneloop AA's are rated 2000mAh minimum and measure to that capacity consistently. Most battery packs for controllers are rather "optimistically" rated, but even taking the 1200mAh rating at face value, the Eneloops will last almost 2x as long between charges.

Amazon has the 4 pack of eneloop AA's with the 7hr charger for $18.

Great deal. In case anyone was wondering, this design doesn't work well with the One X as is, but if you pick up a USB extender it will do a fine job. It just won't look as neat on the Xbox. With the extender, you can also plug it into a powered USB hub, which is what I do.

This requires constantly taking out the battery and plugging it in? Isn't this more worth it? https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...merReviews

In my opinion yes it is, i have that on my wishlist. However it's also $13+ more. I do like though that I don't have to find another opening on my already clogged up power strip, looks like this just piggy backs off one of the xbox's usb ports.

This is a great deal, that I'm jumping on. Thanks OP.

I have this one. I like it. Batteries last pretty long. Got it when it was on sale last year.

There is an Amazon Basic version like the Fosmon one you suggested for about the same price as the Fosmon. I'd sooner buy the Amazon Basic one than a no-name model.

At any rate, this is half the price. Plus, I like that I can swap batteries and keep playing.

Fosmon is semi-known, they have pretty good tv antennas and hdmi cables. Amazon is likely using the same Chinese manufacturer. Better warranty on amazon stuff tho.

I like this model because I can use the microsoft chatpad with this.

Agree, seems like the batteries included in the deal are very low capacity

I currently use eneloop rechargeables and have had no issues
