I prefer buying at target as I feel the quality is more guaranteed at Target then Amazon. I bought same one in earlier deal at $35 from target and it was great!

Fyi, this is the eau de toilette version, not the parfum. The parfum is longer lasting per spray and smells nicer imo.

Recommend you never buy a perfume or cologne that you've never smelled or worn as the scent changes with each person's skin and pH balance not to mention your own particular scent preferences. One person could say they love it but the scent could smell very different on someone else. Do yourself a favor and visit a store and try it on for a day before you buy.

Many fakes that I have received from Ebay make Axe smell exquisite by comparison. Absolutely unrecognizable and useless. I received a couple from Perfumania which were reminiscent of the original scent, but still inferior to a $5 knock off. The difference is night and day. If I were receiving a slightly watered down product for a fraction of the price, I could live with it. But most of what I have received on the internet is not worth spending a cent on.

Over 174 reviews on BN. From what I've read, this fragrance is considered a "Spicy Oriental" fragrance (generally night/cold weather cologne). It's spicy with a woodsy creamy tobacoo type dry down. Most are impressed with the dry down which suggest this is a good quality fragrance.

Personally I love Spicy Orientals (like Pi, Michael Jordan, Tobacco Vanille, One Million) so this would be right up my alley.

There are definitely quite a few reviews that complain about the projection and sillage of this fragrance while others indicate that it is fine. This could be b/c some like/dislike "close to the skin" cologne that only you and someone close can smell, but it also may be due to a reformulation and/or fakes.

However most are indicating you can get 5-8 hours of projection with this. I'd go to target and try a sample just to be safe.

I bought this last time and am wearing it now. Initially, it reminded me of walking through the fragrance dept. at Macy's- very generic cologne smell.

I have Sauvage and this is like the opposite. It's stronger and not as "fresh" smelling. Seems to last longer though.

I do enjoy this fragrance, I bought it from target off Slickdeals the last time this offer came up. Good fragrance and it stays on clothes a long time, no so much on your skin. I still think that anyone that collects fragrances or enjoys colognes should add this one in your inventory. Lots of Amber and a smooth tobacco scent, Slightly on the feminine side but its very warm and subtle for colder weather. 8.0 out of 10 in my book. Great for this price.

Nothing alike. This is a amber/tobacco warm and spicy kind of scent. Worn in usually different settings as any of the ones you mentioned.

The cellophane wrapping was neat and tidy but the box had been cut inside and there was white cardboard showing underneath where someone clearly took an Xacto knife to it. I'm not sure why they would purposely cut the box and reglue it back together. The bottle was original and so was the cap, but the fluid inside was questionable and having been familiar with the scent I did not recognize its notes so I returned it the next day. Strangely I went to have customer service order me another bottle as a replacement and the 3.3 oz version disappeared from their website altogether.
