Tile Mate easily loops onto keychains or attaches to anything you don't want to lose so you can find it fast. Compatible with Apple iOS and Android devices with Bluetooth 4.0. Contains a battery that is designed to last at least one year. -johnny_miller
Best price I've seen for a device that was designed to die after a year. When it does die you get "special pricing" to re-buy a tile for $15. So these four tiles will cost you $60 for replacement one year from now. Good deal for any resellers out there. Anyone else, there are cheaper alternatives with user-replaceable batteries.
I use the NUT3 which has user replaceable batteries. It gets the job done and doesn't hurt my wallet. I got it on sale so no complaints. Battery is user replaceable just like how the tile should be. People can go ahead and downvote. Electrics are being designed to fail and we're putting more junk into the planet. Go green. There is no reason in God's name to seal the battery in a bluetooth key finder. Something that I find useful because I have bad memory.
My first tile I bought did really well and lasted well beyond the date that I was supposed to replace it. Lasted from 7/24/16 until last week . I kept it on my keychain and it seemed to do pretty well. I bought a four pack to replace it and two of them failed under warranty (both mates). The two slims in the combo pack are still doing well. I'm not sure if I'm going to buy anymore since I've had kind of mixed luck with them

I have some going on 18 months now. Still have yet to die. The appeal of this is the "network" anyway.

I've yet to buy an alternative that wasn't anything but problems down the line. Tile is the only one that works consistently for as long, or longer than expected.
Definitely a good price for these. I have an older tile that's going on 3 years and is some how still working, so the 1 year thing is definitely an understatement.

Haven't had any issues with Trackr Pixels. Bed Bath and Beyond had them for 37$ for a 3 pack, then if you have one of their coupons you can get a discount of that. I ended up getting the 3 pack for 27$ (they have a 10$ off 30$ or more). Not as thin as the tile as they have user replacable batteries, they light up as well when you ping them. Also GPS crowd sourced too. Not bad I think.
