Perhaps. If it was truly new, then the seller would be providing a 1 year warranty, because it would be covered by the manufacturer's warranty.
But, from what I can tell the g5 plus and the g6 are very similar phones.

If you are looking for the latest and greatest. It's not that. If you are looking for a pretty usable cell phone, it is that.

It is upgradeable to Android Oreao. has 32 gb of storage and a reasonably good camera for $100. I have no idea what condition it will show up on.

I have a Nexus 5x phone that died and have been temporarily using an old Samsung S5 that has only 16gb of storage and an old version of Android.

For $100 I can get last year's model of the Moto with the current Android and while the phone may not get Android P, it's still likely to at least get security updates.
