I'm surprised we got as far as page 2 before someone sh!tposted...
You have a pocket watch. The whole point of a wristwatch is that it's on your wrist where you can conveniently read the time.
Of all the possible arguments against luxury mechanical watches (overpriced, obsolete, status/jewelry, etc.) you made the dumbest one. Congratulations.
Lol at everyone comparing these to a casio. A high end watch is like wearing a piece of art and mechanical engineering on your wrist. If you think about the complexity that goes into a automatic watch and the conditions in which it had to operate (variations in temperature, water pressure, altitude, etc) and for a mechanical device to still be able to tell time within +/- 5 seconds is pretty remarkable. Yes you can do it with a quartz watch as well, but it's like eating a chef prepared meal vs fast food. Both will fill you up, but one definitely has more character, history and creativity put into it.
Also, to be fair, a lot of the watch brands are mass produced, even rolexes. But the design of the movement and the fit and finish, etc will be vastly superior vs. an entry level watch brand.

The broad arrow is COSC according to the description. It's basically -1 to +5 second variation per day, which is very precise. Omegas easily cost $4,000+ for a non COSC movement

Awesome thx - does Omega hold its value over time as well as Rolex? Thinking about grabbing it.

Very few watches hold value as well as Rolex (unless you go super high end), but Omega is not that bad in terms of depreciation. One of the better bets.
