Medium duty is pretty poor quality. The heavy duty is the one to get as far as durability and maneuvering about your yard. 50 ft is also small depending on your lot size but usually if you're living in a new build it would accommodate nicely. The all rubber hose is stellar and durability wise blows them all away, but lacks flexibility and is cumbersome to store. I own the all rubber and heavy duty.
edit: read some reviews about the heavy duty and just don't understand them. Perhaps they changed the quality but people say it's junk. Just not my experience. If you have doubts, go all rubber.
Yea, they changed the heavy duty all rubber hose. Supposedly they are not the same quality as they used to be.

Perfect timing. I needed two 50's and two 100's - which are also on sale. Out the door for $57 shipped. Estimated arrival is July 3rd, which is super slow. Hoping the arrival date is sooner. Until then I'll be running around my yard shuffling sprinklers.

They don't exist anymore unless you find some old stock.

FYI- Sears recently changed to a different supplier of their highly regarded Premium Rubber garden hoses, and not near what they used to be. Apparently if you can find a ACE Hardware that carry's Craftsman, they carry the previous generation "USA Made" Rubber Hoses. As far as these Medium Duty "Ply" constructed hoses, save yourself the headache, and don't.

Or, if you don't have an ACE hardware, you can try a Dramm hose. ACE Craftsman Heavy Duty or Dramm get your wallet out neither are cheap.

Craftsman brand got bought out, dropped quality by 90%, and left prices the same. This is not the same hose they used to make. Craftsman is relying on Slickdealers being uninformed to help them steal from us.

100% do not buy.
So do you have a reccomendation for a cheap hose or..?
