I've had zero complaints between them and the database drive has taken a proper beating in-stride.
I just bought one of these 2 TB drives for a Steam drive.
If it's anything like the 1 TB, I expect zero issues.
Micron is a "WTF? who?" brand name but at the manufacturing level they're extremely well known. They do $20 billion/year in semiconductors, and are Intel's best buddy.
If you're buying DRAM there's a good chance the chips are from Micron.
Bought a Crucial SSD? That's Micron NAND chips.
Excited about Intel's fancy new 3D XPoint? That's Micron too.
I have no idea if this drive is reliable but they're a solid manufacturer, one of the biggest in the business, and that's good enough for me.
