But, careful here: Uber, assholes that they are, may just as likely confirm your redemption of the code but never apply it upon making the (expensive) ride, and when you start a support ticket, their boilerplate response is: "This offer was only valid to those who were invited," asking you for proof of a direct invitation. At a minimum, grab your own screen shot of the redeemed offer, and maybe after several rounds of bitching and begging them to own up, you'll get the credit.

Assholes.

Please be careful with Uber. There is no customer support and they don't allow you to delete your payment information. I've been scammed out of $100's in rides in Europe. Had to have my bank stop pay. Still haven't gotten my money back or a response.

Yes. You should be able to apply it now to your account and it'll deduct when applicable in two weeks

Right. I went through some hell due to lack of their customer support. At the time, they didn't accept my payment method for unknown reason. There's no way to tell if they actually fixed anything until you verify by requesting a ride. They didn't do shit. After they said, they fixed the issue, they removed $20+ credit I had so I had to dispute that again. Whole thing took about two weeks. fark them. I never had such headache with Lyft. Lyft might be slightly more expensive.

Ymmv. I've contacted Uber in the past and they've appropriately resolved and refunded me for any issues on my ride.

I have friends who are active on Twitter and they will tweet to the Uber Regional Manager explaining their issue and the issue gets resolved quickly.
