NeweggFlash [newegg.com] has the AOC Q3279VWFD8 31.5" QHD IPS monitor with FreeSync support for $229.99. Shipping is free.
Microcenter [microcenter.com] also has it for $230 with store pickup.
For reference, Amazon sells this model for $350, Best Buy's price is $330 and B&H has it at $300.
Update: For those wondering about the stand and VESA compatibility, the stand only offers tilt adjustment and VESA is not supported. However, an
aftermarket VESA adapter is available for $28. [amazon.com]

Which is standard, not really an issue. hope you weren't expecting hdr at this price
Anyways fairly tempted, can't decided if a 34" curved type of thing would annoy me too much coming for 1080P 27", in which case i'd just get a standard 32" like this...
No VESA mount?
The VESA adapter is also available on Newegg and eBay for the same price.
I dont see any major differences, IMO.
5ms response rate (Omen) to 4 (this). Omen might have an extra HDMI port.
More importantly, looks like the Omen has a 1 year warranty and the AOC has a 3 year warranty.
I'm on the Omen right now. I think it is a great monitor.
Trash monitors.
Trash warranty support.
