I run a pair of 705's in my basement. Never used any center channel speaker. The 705's leave me wanting more. I have 707's upstairs and those do the trick. Perhaps the 705's are power limited. My new peachtree nova300 came in today and i'll hook that up downstairs and see what the 705's do. I had the 705's attached to the 300W amp upstairs but still wanted more volume so bought the 707's.

I own two sets of the m705s and I can truthfully say that they are the best sounding speakers that I have heard. My son is a discerning jazz musician and he loves them too
